A flying broom is a broomstick with the magical ability to fly. Flying brooms are one of the wizardry's main means of transporting themselves,[1] and they are also used for sport in magical communities.
Flying brooms contain an element of a magical creature, like a feather, in its corn stalk, which is what makes the broom magical and gives it the attribute of flight. Riding a flying broom is not a talent limited to people with magical powers such as wizards and witches. The rider needs to have complete trust in the broom, without any doubt or insecurities, and believe that they can fly for it to work, but not many Folks posses this quality. One of the few Folks who does is Jesse Alexander.[1]
