The binding spell (Ligo for binding; Finio for unbinding) is a spell that when cast on someone, magically binds their arms and legs. The spell is widely used by agents of the DMCI and MBI to handcuff criminals.

Etymology

Ligo is a Latin verb which means: tie, bind.

Finio is another Latin verb which means: finish, terminate.
